Up here in the heart of the majestic peaks of the Dolomites, the butcher lives in symbiosis with the charcuterie and every skilled craftsman knows how to work the meat and produce local meats. In this world lives and grows Angelo Carpano the founder of the company. Angelo is a young shop capable of Belluno, Strong-willed and learns the art of working in the employ of the best local laboratories.
The encounter with the young Catherine, Origin of Moena in Val di Fassa, represents the turning point for the ambitions to start his own Angelo. In 1952, in fact, the couple opened the butcher shop of Pozza di Fassa. Over the years the family grows and arrive five children, all engaged in the meat processing. The eldest son Louis, natural depository of feelings and paternal culture, directs with passion and skill, transforming the family business, in short time, in a real landmark of the entire production of the Ladin.
In 1983 is expanded headquarters in Pozza di Fassa, while in 1997 inaugurated the point of sale Canazei. In 2004 as a result of the steady increase in customers and the demand for products CARPANO in Italy is built the new plant Falcade (BL) dedicated to the production of bacon, sausages and salami of the Dolomites.
The following year, the handover takes place between the father and the eldest son Louis Alexander. With the guidance of Alexander the company takes another step forward in being able to make the mark CARPANO into a real brand recognized and appreciated throughout Italy. In 2011 the considerable demand for products coming from CARPANO 'South Tyrol Alessandro door to usher in the new point of sale Corvara in Alta Badia.
In the following year the passion and culture to the milk and its derivatives convinces Alexander joined his brother Andrea founded the CARPANOLAT and to build the Dairy polifunzionante of Moena.
Today Alexander, Andrea and all the fundamentals employees are engaged on a daily basis to improve and develop businesses, keeping unchanged the principles and values of the tradition of the Val di Fassa and keeping intact those authentic flavors of the Dolomites.
